Só Luxury
Só where are we today?
We are still a small business based in our hometown of Mission, BC, Canada. Still independently owned by Amanda & Shylah, two moms and best friends of over 30 years.
What started as a small business has grown into something that supports not only our own families, but also the families of our little work family. We employ five others, actual family and friends who have become family. We love the people we work with and we want them to love working here too. We value our little work family and pay more than the living wage, offer benefits and flexibility.
Our DREAM was, and still is, to create a business that supports our families, people we care about and our community. Growth matters to us, but what that growth allows us to do matters even more.
We are BIG believers in giving back.
Since 2020, Só Luxury has donated more than $300,000 in cash and in-kind donations directly into our community. Supporting local organizations, families and causes is something we feel strongly about and as our business grows, we are grateful that our ability to give back grows with it.
Mission is our HOME. We grew up here, we're raising our families here and we're building our business here. We get to create jobs in our hometown, work with people we love and give back to our local community and we think that's pretty special.
We believe that a healthier home starts with the products you use every day.
As our families have grown and as our own families' needs have grown, so has our product line. Our products are created for our own homes and families, Só you can feel confident using them for yours. We care about ingredients. We care about how a product performs. And we care about whether it actually earns a place in your home.
We don't believe choosing better products should mean sacrificing effectiveness. Whether we're developing something for bath, body, skincare or your home, our goal is to create products that are simple to use, thoughtfully made and really, really good at what they're supposed to do.
It's how our business started in the first place, Amanda created a product for her son's eczema. A personal need, solution and product we are proud of. More than a decade later, Coco Oat is STILL our number one selling product.
We have grown and we have learned a LOT over the years but behind the scenes it's still just us. It's our little team in Mission manufacturing products, packing orders and replying to emails.
We still know so many of our retailers personally. We recognize customer names when orders come through. We still get excited when we see Só Luxury on a store shelf.
And when someone tells us Coco Oat helped their baby's eczema, it NEVER gets old.
We know there are a million places you can spend your money. Especially now. Supporting a small Canadian business is a choice and we don't take that lightly. When you buy something from us, that money stays pretty close to home.
It pays our employees. It supports their families and ours. It pays the small businesses and suppliers we work with. It lets us donate to our community. And it allows two best friends to keep creating products that we want in our own homes.
We are incredibly proud of Só Luxury. And we still have BIG plans.
